In the ancient temples of India, a healing art was formed. It was preserved later in Thailand, and today is known as “Thai massage”. Thai massage is a combination of yoga, Ayurveda, and the martial arts. It is practiced as a duet – one person is active while the other is passive. The dance is a beautiful flow of stretching, massaging energy lines and pressure points, and most importantly, the element of pure compassionate touch. By fully immersing yourself in this ancient dance you will learn skills that enable you to give (and receive) an hour-long session. Trusting in one's own intuition and making room for improvisation are the keys to an alive and full practice. Cultivating these qualities is at the heart of this intensive. I invite you for a weekend of healing, dance, play and spiritual growth. For more information about Thai Massage visit www.arielasthaimassage.com .
